Jujuy es una de las provincias más al norte de la Argentina, y limita únicamente con la provincia argentina de Salta y con Bolivia. Se trata de uno de los lugares más hermosos del país, pero también uno de los más pobres. A pesar de su enorme potencial, el atractivo turístico de Jujuy recién ha comenzado a ser aprovechado desde hace algunos años. Y también alberga una interesante comunidad de blogs, que fue una de las primeras en contar con un directorio provincial, que desgraciadamente hoy se encuentra offline: Jujuy Weblogs -aunque todavía se lo puede ver desde la caché de Google. La ausencia de este directorio se une a la percepción de varias bloggers locales de que falta más unión entre los distintos blogs. Mientras Sergio Aramayo señala que “el estado de la “blogocosa” local es muy incipiente”, Verónica San Martín reconoce que “tan sólo tengo contacto con dos blogs jujeños, los cuales navego frecuentemente, leo los posts que editan, dejo comentarios, recomiendo que los visiten y también los he mostrado como ejemplos en talleres que dicté sobre blogs. Me parece que no hay una común unidad de blogs de la provincia”.
Hay un consenso entre los bloggers jujeños entrevistados acerca de la falta de difundir más la existencia de blogs. Algunas categorías donde este tipo de plataforma de publicación sería muy interesante sería la política local. Sin embargo, no hay blogs -o al menos, no he podido detectarlos- que analicen el tema de la política local jujeña. Según Verónica San Martín, “no sé por qué no hay blogs que hablen sobre política local. Sólo puedo hacer suposiciones: quizás sea porque cuando uno crea y escribe en un blog lo hace sobre algo que le apasiona y hasta ahora no habrá alguna persona que a su vez guste de la política y sepa de la existencia de los blogs para hablar sobre esta temática. Ten en cuenta que por estas tierras aún no está muy usada esta herramienta. Dicté talleres de TIC’s en la provincia y estos incluían la enseñanza de blogs como una nueva herramienta de comunicación y expresión, sólo que mis talleres estaban dirigidos al sector turismo de Jujuy. También los difundí en el sector del agro. Si se difunde más esta tecnología a otros sectores me imagino que surgirían más blogs de distintas y diversas temáticas incluídas las de política local”.
Blogs jujeños, por temática
Hay varios blogs dedicados específicamente a comentar la actualidad de Jujuy. Por la lado del turismo, los más activos son Turismo Jujuy, Verónica San Martín; Alguien de Perico; y Jujuy.com, de Sergio Aramayo. Hay de historias y lugares, como De vicuñas andantes, api dulzón y duendes perversos, de Apichuya. O blogs más personales, como Cyberblog 520, de José Victor Antonio Riquelme; Yuyos y Yerbas“> de Lagrima; Text Decoration; Sin Pupilent; Peros, paras, porkes; Irremediablemente nocturno, de Erizo; Martland, de Martín Chalup; y Luciérnaga Furiosa, de Cas.
Por un lado, tenemos los blogs más vinculados con el tema de tecnología e Internet, como 16 bits; de Rodrigo Galíndez, que actualmente reside en la ciudad de Córdoba, Pixeljuy de Ezequiel Acosta Garcia; y a16, de Sergio Aramayo, más vinculado con el tema de diseño web, al igual que el blog de la Asociación de Diseñadores en Comunicación Visual de la Provincia de Jujuy. En ese mismo estilo, también se puede hallar a Dos Dedos.
Como decía en la introducción, Jujuy ha comenzado desde hace algunos años a aparecer en el radar del turismo. Tal interés ha motivado también conflictos varios, como los problemas por la posesión de tierras en Tilcara, de lo que escribí en su momento en mi blog sobre viajes (aquí y aquí; en inglés, aquí y aquí). Excepto Copenoa, una agencia de noticias del norte argentino, no he notado que otros medios se hayan interesado sobre el tema, que es realmente muy interesante.
